How it Works
Planning
First, a person with a disability or their family will meet with someone from the NDIS to talk about their needs and goals. Together, they make a plan for what support they need and how the NDIS can help.
Funding
Once the plan is approved, the NDIS provides funding to cover the support and services agreed upon in the plan
Choosing Providers
With the funding, the person can choose the service providers they want to work with. These providers are the ones who give the actual support or services
Review
The plan isn’t set in stone. It’s reviewed regularly to make sure it’s still meeting the person’s needs. Changes can be made if necessary.
